Is Psychotherapy Right for Me?
Determining if psychotherapy is right for you is typically a two-part process. The first step is to identify what you are seeking from therapy. Psychotherapy is talk-based therapy between a client and a licensed regulated mental health professional and Psychotherapists can offer individual therapy sessions, couple therapy sessions, family therapy sessions, and group therapy sessions working with you to develop a collaborative process to create desired change.
If psychotherapy sounds right for you the second step is finding a therapist. There are many different professions within the Mental Health Industry which can complicate the process. At Psychotherapy Collective all of our therapists are Registered Psychotherapists, exclusively offering online psychotherapy sessions. But in addition to Registered Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists and Social Workers are all able to offer psychotherapy services. Which mental health professional is right for you?
